An ever-greater variety of products, acceleration of time-to-market cycles, component shortages and globalised procurement markets, together with unremitting pressure on prices and the rising costs of raw materials all make it increasingly difficult for electronics manufacturers to respond quickly and flexibly to customer’s requests and modifications. In our search for a corresponding, comprehensive solution, we came up with this THT soldering machine with a wholly modular design and end-to-end horizontal transport, which can be quickly, flexibly and smoothly integrated into established process flows.
The Kirsten hollow wave jet wave is a very fast and dynamic wave. It brings the soldering point to a very high temperature in an extremely short time, which produces high quality results.
Principally as it means that the soldering machine can be configured from individual elements, depending on what each customer’s requirements are. And the system can be easily modified later on. Installation and transport of the machine does not entail any structural modifications: The individual modules fit through normal doors and in elevators.
Our machine takes only 58 kg lead-free solder, because thejet wave´s electromagnetic solder pot needs no movable parts, and so can be made much smaller than in conventional systems. It is thus possible to save up to EUR 34,000 on the first filling of the pot.
